Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, or smartphone by websites you visit. They are widely used to make web applications function efficiently, preserve user configurations, and provide aggregated reporting information to site owners.
In addition to standard cookies, Encorejollyprch utilizes HTML5 LocalStorage. Unlike cookies, LocalStorage values remain entirely within your browser client and are not transmitted with every network header request, ensuring superior speed and enhanced privacy.
We classify our browser storage mechanisms into three distinct operational tiers:
| Storage Key / Cookie | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
encore_cookie_consent |
Essential / Strictly Necessary | Stores your cookie consent preference so the banner remains suppressed on subsequent visits. | 1 Year (LocalStorage) |
__cf_bm |
Essential / Security | Managed by Cloudflare to distinguish between humans and automated bot networks. | 30 Minutes (Cookie) |
planner_state_cache |
Functional | Preserves your selected destination, duration, and packing list checkboxes during page navigation. | Session (LocalStorage) |
These identifiers are indispensable for the website to function securely and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are set solely in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences or navigating between calculator tabs.
These enable our trip calculators to remember your custom input values (e.g. currency selections or checklist items) as you move across the site without requiring account creation.
You can adjust your browser settings to decline or delete cookies at any time. Below are instructional resources for major browser platforms:
Note: Disabling strictly necessary local storage may prevent the Trip Planner state from caching your day-by-day calculations.
